About Blackjack at hfive5
Blackjack, also known as "21", is one of the most popular card games in the world – and Malaysia is no exception. Unlike most other casino games that rely entirely on luck, blackjack gives players the opportunity to apply strategy and skill to significantly reduce the house edge. This is precisely why many experienced players choose blackjack as their game of choice.
At hfive5, we offer a complete blackjack experience – from classic blackjack tables for beginners all the way to VIP live blackjack tables with real dealers for more seasoned players. All tables run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are accessible directly from your smartphone with no additional app download required.
The core objective of blackjack is straightforward: get a hand value higher than the dealer's without exceeding 21. Numbered cards are worth their face value, face cards (Jack, Queen, King) are worth 10, and an Ace can count as either 1 or 11 – whichever benefits your hand at that moment.

Basic Strategy Chart
Basic blackjack strategy is not guesswork – it is a mathematically grounded set of decisions that maximises your winning chances based on your hand versus the dealer's visible card. By following this chart consistently, players can bring the house edge down to below 1%.
The chart below shows the recommended action based on your hand total versus the dealer's face-up card. "Hit" means request an additional card, "Stand" means stop, and "Double" means double your bet and receive one more card.
| Your Hand | Dealer 2–6 | Dealer 7–9 | Dealer 10–A |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8 or under | Hit | Hit | Hit |
| 9 | Double | Hit | Hit |
| 10 | Double | Double | Hit |
| 11 | Double | Double | Double |
